Blood Red Sun

The last thing I remember was the color of the sun. I only noticed due to the reflection in the tears streaming down her cheeks as my hands broke free of hers

At that moment, I should have known

Her voice broke as her heart shattered.  Tears followed with the clatter when she begged me to stay

A sense of reluctant foreboding crept up my spine when I turned away,

silently saying my final goodbye

A shadow followed me throughout the night. Attached at my side

Unshakable and blending , stalking my walk.

Up until the time I realized what is happening ,fate played her final hand on me.  My final feeling was being pressed firm against the back of my head.

I could tell he had been here before.

I laughed, knowing this is how it would end all along

I began to hear my first and final note of my life song

In a blink, it was over.  I could still hear her crying as darkness consumed my vision

Her tears were for my murder

Bought and paid for,  like any other wish she demanded

How ironic

I was right.

This would be my fate, handed
