The Serpent and The Lion

Dedicated to Sasha

Dawn is coming; silence vading.

Open to the area where fate lies; waiting.

Two sinful servants bound in love
Are tied together; he waits above.

By the draw of his hand; the lions , eager
His mistresses attention drawn to his finger.

Cuddled in fear; huddled in cold
Her tears flow as the gates unfold.

"Don't be afraid" he whispers to her
"Look into my eyes." He says to her

She goes first. Torn and battered

He remains, surrounded by laughter.

He wasn't the victim,  but the vice to cause
He was the serpent that seduced the slave
He was the lion that sent her to the grave
