It amazes me the power of words and their ability to promote the caliber of damage that is produced when said by the right (or maybe wrong) person.
As I've said before,
"The power of words alone are irrelevant in comparison to the impact of whom they're spoken by"
Yet what is said is said .... and the damage is done. In my experience I have learned these two things:
1. Never ever underestimate the power of an apology
2. Once words are said and damage is done; you can't expect to repair the damage without putting in a major work load.
Some burn bridges and some blow them the fuck up and either way the damage is done; if you're not planning to put in the effort to repair them then don't expect it to be there to rely on unless you make that bridge better and stronger than what it was before.
That's the truth. It's not a strength then or a weakness thing. It's a real life thing.
